Burst Piles – The low down on Burst Piles

Piles of course as you might know are inflamed and swollen veins in your anorectal area. They occur for many reasons, constipation, irritable bowel syndrome, not enough fiber, etc…

You can treat them with creams and lotions, herbal remedies, medical intervention and other treatment methods. But what happens when your piles burst? It sounds life threatening, but you should relax because most of the time it’s not.

The first thing you will notice if you have burst piles will be a sudden lessening of the pain you are experiencing. Most people report pain reduces by as much as 75% almost in a heartbeat.

There will also be a large amount of bleeding, but not enough to cause issues. Should it persist bleeding large amounts for longer then 10/15 minutes you should be checking with your local doctor or hospital.

Burst Piles might sound drastic, but in reality it’s just a thrombosed pile that has not been performed medically, but has occurred naturally. All the same you should not be attempting to burst your piles on purpose as there can be medical problems which stem from this. You are far better off heading to your doctors if you want to do this.

In another post, I’ve detailed a method I have used personally a number of times to help deal with the unpleasantness of burst piles. I have included a link to this below this post.

I figured epidural was for only expecting mothers who couldn’t bear the pain any further.
